Stuart, Florida December Fishing Report
The fishing has been pretty steady the last couple of weeks. We’ve had some great trips, but have had to work through some rough conditions offshore to get it done. We’ve caught some really nice mahi on several different days along with some wahoo up to the 35 lb. class. The sailfish bite has been slow, but we’ve managed 1 or 2 per trip is seems. Several clients have caught their first sailfish ever, which is always fun to be apart of. We’re just waiting for the first real cold front to pass through, that should really turn the sailfish on and we’ll be ready when it does! Most of our fishing lately has been dead bait trolling from 80′ all the way out to 600′, the dredge has been bringing fish into the spread and the planer has been extra productive. There has also been a pretty steady blackfin tuna bite, we always love fresh sashimi!
January is booking up fast, but we still have days available the end of this month and then into the new year, so if you want to come fishing, book a trip today!
