We had a beautiful offshore trip yesterday, albeit with challenging fishing conditions. The offshore water is still cloudy and dirty from hurricane Nicole, so we spent the first half of the day looking for clean water. We fished depths from 80′ all the way out to 850′ with only a few critter bites to show…

There has been a great wahoo bite of Stuart the last few days. We caught a couple nice ones, some mahi-mahi and tagged and released a sailfish yesterday. This was all out deep, in about 600′. Tons of bonito in close, so we decided to go deeper and it paid off!

The boys had a great time fishing this cool summertime sailfish tournament in Stuart. Congrats to the winners! Thanks to the tournament organizers as well, they had more boats than ever this year and we hope the tournament continues to grow in the years to come. The Mahi-Mahi bite has been great lately! John and his party caught several nice fish this week including this one. Some Sailfish and nice King Mackerel have been mixed in as well. We have dates open, schedule a trip today.
